So many things clamor for our attention. One thing is of greatest value. FUSE is about seeing and responding to the surpassing worth of Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:7-8). Nothing is more exciting. Nothing compares.
FUSE is a 2 part Youth Ministry.
- 1 part teen
- 1 part parent (or other significant adult)
Though the ministry is aimed at teens, both are crucial. Both are commissioned by God to play a critical role.
Youth and parents have an irreplaceable opportunity to treasure Christ in this unique season of life. FUSE does not exist to replace the role of the parent, but to come alongside the parent. FUSE does not exist to draw teens away from their parents, but to point them toward their parent. Ultimately, both parent and teen are pointed to Christ as the Savior of the world who is of far greater value than anything else the world has to offer.
While holding unswervingly to this conviction, we do understand that there are youth whose parents are unable or unwilling to participate in this ministry. When that is the case, we want these youth to know they are wholeheartedly welcomed and accepted as a vital part of FUSE.
