Upcoming events at Providence Church:

Due to the snow storm, Bethel Park Schools has cancelled all activities in all their schools for Sunday February 7, 2010.  Unfortunately, this means that we will be unable to have our Sunday services.  We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to worshipping God together next week.

20-40 Prayer Meeting

Let us all respond to Christ’s teaching that God is poised to answer us as we cry out to Him in persistent prayer (Luke 11:1-13). One way to do that is to come to what we are calling our “20-40 Prayer Meeting” each Sunday morning from 9:20-9:40. Luke 11:13 says, “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” What might God do at Providence Church if 40 (or more) people prayed persistently, and with faith in Him, each Sunday for 20 minutes? Let’s find out! Will you join us?

Please pray for Ian Murphy, oldest son of Steve and Mary Murphy from Lord of Life Church, who was in a severe car accident with life threatening brain damage. His life has been miraculously spared.
